Successful Portraits Sessions
Many things go into creating a successful portrait session. Clothes are extremely important and are
discussed before the portrait session during the consultation. We want the viewer to see the photograph
and say, “what an adorable child” and not “what a great outfit where did you get it”. Next are props,
we have many props in the studio that we use and of course all age appropriate. A special toy or blanket
of the child’s is always welcome. One of the most important things to consider when having your child
photographed is what time of day to schedule the session. Together we will come up with the best time to
photograph you child so they will be at their happiest and the end result will be a beautiful portrait.
